SARAJEVO, April 3 (FENA) - The FBiH Banking Agency is informing the public and citizens that a moratorium or other benefits on loan repayment will be granted to all citizens who have reduced credit standing as a result of the negative effects of the declared state of emergency in the Federation of BiH.
According to the Agency, officials, state employees, employees of public companies, budget users, as well as all others who are paid regularly, are not covered by the temporary measure of the moratorium on loan repayment. Exceptionally, indivisuals may also apply if the credit standing of a household member is impaired due to the adverse effects of a state of emergency, and if they, when granting a loan, have gone under the estimation of the credit standing of household members.
“We understand the fear of citizens and demands for a moratorium for everyone, but it is impossible to put into equal status an employee who lost his job with an employee of a state-owned company that has regular income. The same logic applies to legal entities, since all state institutions and legal entities that have stable operations or even increased turnover cannot be eligible for a moratorium. This right is provided for legal entities that have significantly impeded business operations as a result of the negative effects of the declared state of emergency in the Federation of BiH,” the Agency stated.
They point out that everyone who can pay their financial obligations at this time should do so, and especially the public sector, because "only in this way can we help the vulnerable and contribute to overcoming this crisis," the FBiH Banking Agency said.
