SARAJEVO, April 3 (FENA) - Director of the FBiH Inspectorate Directorate, Anis Ajdinović says they would continue to intensively implement measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with the orders of the relevant authorities.
He pointed out that, as of Sunday, March 15, after passing a decision on mandatory sanitary surveillance of all BiH citizens, FBiH inspectors from all ten inspectorates have been deployed to 15 border crossings in the FBiH, where they perform 24-hour sanitary checks of passengers on the entry, in three shifts.
"According to the information available so far, the sanitary inspectors at border crossings issued a total of 21,554 decisions on placing passengers under medical supervision, restricted movement or isolation for a period of 14 days," Ajdinović said in his address.
Ajdinovic stressed that today the measures issued for 2,311 persons ordering them into isolation by the sanitary inspectors expire, meaning that a mandatory 14-day isolation period for a total of 12,149 persons has officially expired.
He emphasized that the cantonal police authorities carry out daily checks on persons to whom FBiH sanitary inspectors have issued decisions on placement under health monitoring or mandatory isolation and that in this regard, a total of 317 summary collective notes on non-compliance with the imposed measures have been submitted so far to the FBiH Inspection Directorate for a larger number of people.
