SARAJEVO, April 5 (FENA) - The Government of the Federation of BiH, on the proposal of the Federation of BiH Prime Minister, Fadil Novalić, has annulled the decision to allocate KM 21 million to lower levels of government and funds - cantonal municipalities and cities, and redirected those funds to purchase medical equipment necessary for fight against coronaviruses - COVID 19, the PR Office of the FBiH Government announced.
FBiH Ministry of Finance is tasked with directing 21 million KM from current transfer to other levels of government and funds - cantons and municipalities into the FBiH Government current reserve, and the FBiH Government will redirect these funds to the FBiH Ministry of Health for the procurement of medical equipment necessary to fight coronavirus - COVID 19.
“The distribution of purchased medical and other equipment from these funds will be carried out by the cantonal public health institutes, guided by the population criterion,” said Prime Minister Novalić.
