GORAŽDE, April 5 (FENA) - Construction works on the Hranjen Tunnel, as part of the future section of the Goražde – Sarajevo expressway, are underway regardless of the coronavirus pandemic, confirmed construction technical manager, Enes Ajanović.
According to him, construction works on the tunnel are being carried out without any delays.
“We work 24 hours without any problems. The situation is normal at the construction site. So far, about 470 meters of the main tube of the Hranjen tunnel have been excavated. The works are carried out according to the dynamics and the established plan,” Ajanović said.
He added that, most importantly, there were no process delays during the works and that, in accordance with the coronavirus pandemic, all precautionary measures were taken.
He said measures were also taken to restrict entry to the site.
“We have a complete control of the entry and exit of workers and all other personnel who must come to the site, including our suppliers. We also asked them to adhere to the prescribed protective measures, such as wearing masks, gloves and other protective equipment. Workers at the Hranjen tunnel construction site come from different parts of BiH, which requires special caution in the current situation. Everyone is additionally informed about this pandemic situation, as well as all measures to be taken, including recommendations for as few contacts as possible,” Ajanović emphasized.
