SARAJEVO, April 5 (FENA) - The decision to allow persons over 65 to go out and to run their errands is not an invitation to walk, FBiH Chief of the FBiH Civil Protection Service, Fahrudin Solak, said today at a press conference.

Solak emphasized that everything is ready for the activities that start tomorrow and coordinated with the Ministry of Interior, which will supervise all activities.

“First of all, I think of supervising the activities of people over 65. This is not a walking permit, but a permit to carry out their obligations in shops, post office and the like. We asked other citizens not to go out during this period. If we see that the measures are not respected, we will have to issue other orders, ban other citizens during this period, or terminate the exit permit for pensioners,” Solak explained.

He noted that a plane from Sweden is landing tonight and a bus from France is coming tomorrow, with BiH citizens who will have to go through mandatory quarantine.
