Džaferović and Erdogan discuss measures to stop coronavirus

SARAJEVO, April 5 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Chairman Šefik Džaferović spoke on the phone today with President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan about the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey regarding efforts made by the two countries to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The interlocutors emphasized that the pandemic can be overcome only through joint and coordinated activities of the whole world, the BiH Presidency stated.

Džaferović thanked the Republic of Turkey for its assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Erdogan said that the Republic of Turkey will continue to help BiH with medical equipment necessary to stop the spread of Covid-19.

Erdogan assessed the measures taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina as timely, yielding good results. He also called for unity and joint work of all in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
