BANJA LUKA, April 6 (FENA) - The situation in Banja Luka when it comes to coronavirus pandemic is under control, thanks to preventative and restraint measures, but the epidemic has not reached its peak and there must be no relapse," said Banja Luka Mayor Igor Radojičić.
It has been one month since the first coronavirus case was registered in Banja Luka. Radojičić said that the RS is still in a phase of linear, not exponential, epidemic growth.
"We still have complete control over all domestic clusters and persons who were in the immediate contact with those infected," said Radojičić after the session of the city's crisis staff and emphasized that it is necessary for citizens to comply with all previously set measures in a disciplined manner.
He warned that all persons coming from abroad to the RS must go to local quarantines for 14 days, after which they will be tested.
Since the holiday of Easter is coming, Radojičić said that all those who plan to come to the RS for Easter (April 12) or Orthodox Easter (April 19) should know that they will spend their holiday in quarantine, not their homes.
