TREBINJE, April 7 (FENA) – BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik said today that he believes an agreement will be reached in the next few weeks regarding the allocation of USD 330 million from the so-called International Monetary Fund (IMF) crisis package for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Stating that the extent of coronavirus infection and costs are the same in both entities, he believes that the mentioned money should also be distributed between the RS and the Federation of BiH, which is not a regular credit tranche of the IMF.
He expects that the BiH Presidency's conclusion, which tasked the BiH Council of Ministers, to ensure quarantine at border crossings within 24 hours in cooperation with the entity and authorities of the Brčko District of BiH, will be respected.
Failure to do so will require the BiH Presidency to close all border crossings for the flow of people who have not been quarantined, because without it, he says, there is no serious protection against the virus in both entities.
