SARAJEVO, April 7 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Šefik Džaferović spoke today with US Ambassador to BiH Eric Nelson.
During the telephone conversation, the two officials exchanged information on the epidemiological situation in the United States of America and efforts in Bosnia and Herzegovina to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
BiH Presidency Chairman pointed out that the current situation in the United States, which is strongly affected by the spread of coronavirus, is being closely monitored in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He expressed his hope that, as always, the United States would be able to overcome this difficult situation.
Chairman Džaferović thanked Ambassador Nelson for the assistance the United States provided in medical equipment. Ambassador Nelson announced further assistance in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
During the talks, they stated that the coordination of activities and full engagement of all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina are crucial to successfully counteracting the coronavirus pandemic, the BiH Presidency announced.
