GORAŽDE, April 8 (FENA) - A seventh case of coronavirus infection has been registered in the area of Bosnia Podrinje Canton (BPC) - Goražde. The cantonal Institute for Public Health clarifies that it is a person from the same household in which two cases were previously confirmed, so the last one is expected from the epidemiological side.
Director of the Institute, Dr. Medina Bičo, points out that a total of eight tests were carried out yesterday in the area of BPC Goražde, including two cases of retesting of previously positive patients living in the same household, in which a new case of infection was confirmed.
“We also have information that two people are already recovering, but we are waiting for an official confirmation because we will test again two people who are negative, only then we will be able to say that we have two recovered from COVID-19 in the BPC area,” said Bičo.
She stressed that the emergence of a new case of coronavirus did not worsen the epidemiological situation in that canton.
“All persons who are infected with coronavirus in the area of BPC feel well and no one has developed severe symptoms,” said the director of the Public Health Institute of BPC Goražde.
