SARAJEVO, April 8 (FENA) - Member of the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health and FBiH Assistant Minister for Health Goran Čerkez stressed that the fight against coronavirus in BiH continues as well as all around the world.

He pointed out that more infected people have mild symptoms, while a number of people have severe problems. Severe conditions, he added, can be complicated quickly, sometimes within a few hours.

Čerkez said that human health is endangered in general, not only because of coronavirus, but also because of reduced physical activity and stress.

“I assure citizens of the FBiH that they can trust the experts that need to do their job, and I also call on the media for fair reporting, as well as for all persons who have public appearance,” added Čerkez.

He stressed that the number of infected and fatal cases is expected to increase and that the profession, the public and the media should not polarize at this time.

He thanked the citizens who respect measures and recommendations issued because they can help mitigate the consequences.
