BIHAĆ, April 8 (FENA) - Members of the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of the Una-Sana Canton (USC) confirmed that 41 positive coronavirus tests have been recorded in this canton to date.
“To date, 359 samples of citizens from our canton have been tested, and 41 positive coronavirus tests have been confirmed. We have 34 currently infected persons, while two patients from Bihać have been cured. Unfortunately, five deaths are associated with COVID-19. The biggest number of positive people is in Bihać and Cazin,” said USC Health Minister Nermina Ćemalović.
She also said that since yesterday, 42 samples have been sent to the reference laboratory in Sarajevo, and so far one positive case of a person from Bihać was confirmed.
“There are nine patients in the isolation ward of the Infectious Diseases Clinic and their current status is stable. Most importantly, we do not have intensive care patients. Five people are positive for coronavirus, while four are suspected and we expect the results of their samples tomorrow at the latest,” said Director of the Cantonal Hospital Hajrudin Havić.
