Novalić: Compliments from WHO testify that we are fully committed

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, April 8 (FENA) - FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić in a statement to FENA referred to a conference of the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office held in Copenhagen today, when WHO officials highlighted and praised Bosnia and Herzegovina as good example, stating that the right measures were taken in time to prevent the rapid spread of coronavirus.

“As the Government, we have understanding for criticism these days, we understand the concerns of people, and we try to do our best. The World Health Organization's report as the highest authority on this issue testifies that we are fully committed,” said the FBiH Prime Minister.

Even though such reports are encouraging, Novalić calls for caution "because it is precisely a cautious approach that saved us from the darkest scenarios."

“Although WHO officials commended measures taken by the authorities, I would like to draw attention to the fact that this is the result of responsibility and a disciplined approach of citizens who follow those recommendations and instructions. I would like to thank all citizens for this," said FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić.
