SARAJEVO, April 9 (FENA) - Head of the Epidemiology Department of the FBiH Public Health Institute and member of the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health, Sanjin Musa, stressed the importance of adhering to the prescribed measures, as Covid-19, is highly contagious disease that is transmitted very quickly.

In this context, he recalled experiences of other countries that initially had a small number of infected persons, which subsequently increased sharply. That is why, he explained, the ban measures are aimed at avoiding a sudden increase in the number of diseases, which would hinder the health system.

“The only thing we can do at the moment is that citizens are adhering to the prescribed distance measures to prevent the transmission of viruses,” Musa emphasized during a regular daily address by representatives of FBiH institutions regarding the spread of coronaviruses.

He said that they are taking all measures and analyzing the situation daily.
