SARAJEVO, April 9 (FENA) - The FBiH budget revision was not discussed at today's session of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina because it is a large-scale, time-consuming job, and everything has to be agreed with 16 ministries, FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić said today.

The PM nevertheless confirmed that the document would be ready for the ministers on Tuesday or at the latest on Wednesday next week.

He expressed hope that sessions of the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament would also be scheduled next week when the FBiH Stabilization Law should be considered together with the budget revision.

“The planned budget revision is a revision of the Federation of BiH and FBiH salaries will be reduced,” he added.

He noted that the Stabilization Law was a cross-section of the situation, which included opinions of experts, trade unions, employers and other sections of society, and when drafting the law, the possibilities of the Federation of BiH were taken into account.

“What is offered here may not be enough, but it is in line with capabilities of the FBiH and we will be able to implement it,” confirmed FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalić.

He reiterated that there was no talk of reduction in pensions, but also that no increases could be discussed, as it is unknown in what direction the crisis caused by the spread of coronavirus would go.
