BiH Presidency adopts decision on accession to Joint Procurement Agreement

SARAJEVO, April 9 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency has adopted a Decision on the BiH accession to the Joint Procurement Agreement to procure medical countermeasures.

Due to the state of natural or other disaster caused by the pandemic of the Covid - 19 virus, which threatens the survival of the nation, the BiH Presidency has agreed to the provisional application of the Joint Procurement Agreement to procure medical countermeasures pending completion of the ratification process.

The BiH Presidency has adopted this Decision in accordance with Article 9 of the Law on Procedure for Concluding and Enforcing International Treaties (Official Gazette of BiH, No. 29/00, 32/13).

The decision prescribes the accession and consent of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Joint Procurement Agreement to procure medical countermeasures, with the provisional application of the international treaty pending completion of the ratification process and the authorization of the BiH Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign the agreement, the BiH Presidency stated.
