Turković signs EU deal on joint medical equipment procurement to fight Covid-19

SARAJEVO, April 10 (FENA) - Deputy Chair of the BiH Council of Minister and Foreign Minister Bisera Turković, on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has signed an EU joint agreement on a package to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

"This is an agreement that will enable our country to participate in the EU public procurement of medical equipment for the prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH stated.

In this way, BiH will have the opportunity to acquire up-to-date medical supplies to treat our citizens. Pursuant to the relevant BiH Presidency Decision, the Agreement with the EU for BiH enters into force immediately upon its signing," the statement said.
