SARAJEVO, April 12 (FENA) - Citizens do not respect the measures they have been asked to, so we have seen this weekend them gathering at picnic sites, which is not good, said this evening Head of the FBiH Civil Protection Service Fahrudin Solak while addressing representatives of the media at a regular briefing on the situation with the spread of coronavirus.
Solak stressed that sitting in the house is annoying for everyone, but that citizens should behave in accordance with the measures that were adopted so that they would not become even stricter, and once again appealed to citizens' responsibility.
He also pointed out that the situation at all 14 border crossings has been improved and that everything was functioning smoothly.
Solak also referred to the situation with forest fires, saying that since Friday, we have had firefighting efforts at a number of locations in the Herzegovina-Neretva and the Central Bosnia Canton as the most threatened.
He pointed out that these were cases of deliberate igniting of fires caused by the burning of weed and old grass, as well as that police have detained 15 people in the Zenica-Doboj Canton and that there were no more active fires in the area.
