SARAJEVO, April 13 (FENA) - The FBIiHMinister of Energy, Mining and Industry Nermin Džindić said today that 27 companies with 25,000 employees are directly supervised or monitored by this ministry.

"No job will be endangered. The FBiH government is committed to ensuring that all 25,000 workers remain employed and that together with them we will overcome this truly difficult situation," Džindić said at a regular address of representatives of FBiH institutions regarding the spread of coronavirus.

He stated that due to this situation, all plans related to the military industry, as well as other companies that are under the jurisdiction of this ministry, have been slightly changed and adjusted to the fact that we are not the only ones affected by this pandemic.

"Our plans are slightly modified and, if this does not take long, by the end of this year we will meet all our plans one hundred percent," said Džindić.

Regarding the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina's energy system, Džindić confirmed that it is stable and safe and that according to plans defined in 2019, and based on that two-year plan, the system operates without any delays.

"In these crisis situations, the Federation of BiH has not for one second been left without a continuous and secure supply of electricity. Also, all the mines and thermal power plants are functioning without a single minute of delay and the thermal power plants have enough coal at the depots," said Džindić, and on this occasion commended all the miners and thanked them for the great sacrifice they make in these difficult moments.
