Ban on movement in RS as of this afternoon until Monday

FENA Press release

BANJA LUKA, April 17 (FENA) - Citizens will be banned from moving in the Republika Srpska (RS) on Easter holidays to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The order starts today at 15.00 p.m. and will last until tomorrow morning at 05.00 a.m.

Crisis Staff for Emergency Situations decided to ban movement again as of Saturday from 15:00 p.m. until Monday at 5:00 a.m.

The prohibition excludes health professionals and police who are tasked with other members of law enforcement agencies, as well as persons in urgent need of medical assistance and persons to whom the employer issues a certificate of need for movement due to working.

The movement is also allowed to persons licensed by the RS Ministry of Interior, as well as to domestic and foreign carriers with proof of transport.

RS police will monitor compliance with these measures.

Friday, Sunday and Monday are non-working days in the RS due to Easter holidays.
