Forest fire in Hutovo Blato Nature Park still active

ČAPLJINA, April 20 (FENA) - A fire that broke out on Sunday at noon at Hutovo Blato Nature Park is still active and reeds and forest are burning.

There are still open flames in the inaccessible part of the swampland, reeds are burning, and firefighters who have watched over the fire during the night are still at the site, the Operational Center of the Civil Protection Service of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNC) reported on Monday.

Six other fires have been reported in the HNC in the last 24 hours, two each in Konjic, Čitluk and Mostar, but these have been successfully localized.
