SARAJEVO, April 21 (FENA) - A total of 135 samples were tested at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS) over the last night.
Eight new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed, and the results have been positive in four retesting cases, confirmed for FENA the director of KCUS, Dr. Sebija Izetbegović.
Four of the newly infected are from Sarajevo, two from Travnik and one each, from Maglaj and Zenica. Regarding the retested samples, out of four positive ones, three were from Sarajevo and one from Goražde.
All employees of the Gerontology Center in Nedzarići in Sarajevo were among those tested and all were negative to Covid-19. They were tested after coronavirus infection has been confirmed with one beneficiary of the center in the previous days, and there was considerable concern that the virus could spread to other residents of the center.
