SARAJEVO, April 22 (FENA) - FBiH Health Minister Vjekoslav Mandić said today at the regular press conference of representatives of the FBiH institutions that a total of 634 samples were tested in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, 11 of which tested positive for Covid-19.
He stated that a total of 11.196 samples have been tested in the Federation of BiH so far, and Covid-19 has been confirmed in 770 people. Of these, 415 were women or 53.9 percent and 355 were men or 46.1 percent.
Speaking about the health status of the patients, Minister Mandić said that 63 patients positive for Covid -19 have been hospitalized in the Federation of BiH, 15 of which are on a ventilator.
“To date, 143 patients have been recovered in the FBiH. We expect this number to increase every day,” Mandić said.
He thanked representatives of UNICEF and USAID, who donated valuable equipment for mental health centers in the Federation of BiH, who adapted their work and made themselves available on the phone for psychological support during and after working hours.
“They have also enabled our patients to have mental health support. Any support to get psychological and other help to everyone is of great benefit, especially in such a situation,” said Minister Mandić.
