BANJA LUKA, April 23 (FENA) - In the entity of Republika Srpska, coronavirus has been confirmed in 31 more people and the total number infected in the entity now stands at 611. Twenty people have died so far, stated the Minister of Health and Social Care Alen Šeranić today.
He explained that in the past 24 hours, 512 laboratory tests have been carried out.
When it comes to newly infected people, there are 17 men and 14 women, 11 of them from Banja Luka, six from Prnjavor, two from Kneževo and Prijedor and one each from Laktaši, Derventa, Kotor Varoš, Gradiška, Oštra Luka, Gacko, Ugljevik, Trebinje and Srbac.
"Among those identified as positive, we have 19 persons from regular supervision, six of whom are beneficiaries of the Nursing Home in Kneževo, while the others tested negative," he said.
The presence of coronavirus was also detected in seven health care workers in the RS, three of whom were nurses and one doctor from Banja Luka hospital, one nurse from Gradiška and Bijeljina and one nurse from a private healthcare institution.
