Glamoč:Two new COVID-19 cases confirmed in SC out of 196 tested in last 24 hours

SARAJEVO, April 26 (FENA) - Commander of the Civil Protection Crisis Staff of the Sarajevo Canton and Minister of Municipal Economy and Infrastructure, Nihada Glamoč, said in a statement today that 196 people were tested in the Sarajevo Canton (SC) on COVID-19 in the last 24 hours and two of them were positive.

She stated that 11 patients are hospitalized in SC at the moment, none of them is on a ventilator, and eight patients had recovered from coronavirus yesterday.

Glamoč specified that from the beginning of testing for COVID-19 in the Sarajevo Canton to date, 3.409 people have been tested.

She added that six violations of self-isolation measures were reported yesterday, and that there are currently two people in forced isolation in the Bjelave Student Center.

“Yesterday, the FBiH Ministry of Health issued a decision on the termination of quarantine for 70 persons, and today ten more persons will leave the quarantine,” said Glamoč.

She explained that 4.449 persons had registered to the employment service by Thursday, and another 313 had registered the following day.
