Pehar: 33 new cases of Covid-19 infection registered in FBiH

SARAJEVO, April 29 (FENA) - Member of the FBiH Civil Protection Staff and Director of the FBiH  Public Health Institute, Davor Pehar, said today in an address to the media that 520 samples were tested in the FBiH in the last 24 hours, 33 of which tested positive for Covid-19.

He specified that as of today, a total of 16,265 people have been tested, 891 of whom were positive for coronavirus, of whom 54% were women.

Pehar stated that the number of those infected in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton is 247, in Zenica-Doboj 172, in Sarajevo Canton 112, in Una-Sana Canton 90, in West Herzegovina Canton 84, in Tuzla 81, 41 in Canton 10, in Central Bosnia Canton 40, in Podrinje Canton 21, and three infected persons in Posavina Canton.

Out of 48 patients hospitalized all together, five are on ventilators," Pehar said.

He added that so far, 315 patients recovered from COVID-19 in the FBiH, and in the last 24 hours there were 13 such cases.
