FBiH CPCC issues order to deliver ventilators and bans movement from 10pm to 5am

SARAJEVO, April 30 (FENA) - The FBiH Civil Protection Crisis Staff (FBiH CPCC) issued an ordered at an extended session of the FBiH Civil Protection Administration (FUCZ) yesterday to deliver 80 invasive ventilators, purchased by the Government of the Federation of BiH, to clinical centers and cantons in the Federation of BiH.

Ten ventilators will be delivered to Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, University Clinical Hospital Mostar and University Clinical Center Tuzla, 12 ventilators to the Una-Sana Canton, eight to the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, six to the Tuzla Canton, five to Zenica-Doboj, Central Bosnia and Sarajevo Canton, three in West Herzegovina and Canton 10, two in the Posavina Canton and one ventilator in the Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde, the FBiH Civil Protection Administration stated.

In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) infection, the 18th extraordinary extended session of the FBiH Civil Protection Crisis Staff, chaired by Commander Jelka Milićević, was held yesterday. Sanjin Musa, member of the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health and Head of the Epidemiology Service of the FBiH Public Health Institute and via video link, Fahrudin Solak, Chief of the FBiH Civil Protection Crisis Staff attended the session.

The new order, which applies for May 1, 2 and 3, prohibits the gathering of more than five people in one place. In the first three days of May, it is prohibited to move from 22.00 pm to 5.00 am in the Federation of BiH.

The order of 24 April prohibiting the movement of persons over the age of 65 except on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and persons under the age of 18 except on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, at certain times, is extended and applicable until 15 May by supplementing the order for such persons to be allowed to move in the car every day.

On the basis of the recommendation of the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health, all activities in shopping centers in the territory of FBiH are suspended, with the exception of shops that sell groceries and hygiene items and pharmacies. The operation of wholesale and retail trade operations of all kinds of products, services, small crafts within the meaning of the Crafts and Related Acts and outside shopping centers is allowed.

The FBiH Civil Protection Administration (FUCZ) has been ordered to deliver 90,000 virus transport media and as many swabs to all cantonal public health institutes.

FUCZ was ordered to let the use of 14 body temperature cameras to the FBiH Inspection Directorate to install at border crossings. The cameras will be given for the period of time while there is a need to use them at border crossings.

Gathering in playgrounds, parks and other public areas is still prohibited, as well as the work of open-air markets and market areas around retail outlets, except for the open markets selling agricultural and food products, is being suspended. The order does not apply to to shops that sell groceries and hygiene items, fish markets, pharmacies, agricultural pharmacies and veterinary and medical supplies stores, gas stations, kiosks, bakeries, dry cleaners, orthopedic stores and other supplies stores, children's equipment stores, animal feed stores, shops for construction material, water and electrical materials, logistics and distribution centers for food, beverages and hygiene products, and wholesale stores.

The period of an order suspending regular, non-scheduled and rail public transportation in the Federation of BiH, with the exception of registered taxi carriers has been extended.
