Austrian Embassy in Sarajevo provides tablets for 12 schools in BiH

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, April 30 (FENA) - The Austrian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina has launched a donor action that will provide 120 tablets to socially vulnerable students in 12 primary and secondary schools in BiH.

Coronavirus pandemic is particularly affecting students who do not have the necessary equipment to attend online classes.

The donor action was implemented thanks to the Austrian economy in BiH, which, as in the past, has again shown its readiness for social engagement. The Austrian Embassy is very grateful to the participating companies: Raiffeisen Bank BiH, GRAWE Insurance, Porsche BH Ltd., Sparkasse Bank BiH, UNIQA Insurance and Wiener Insurance.

Ambassador Ulrike Hartmann will hand over the tablets to schools on Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 5: Grbavica Elementary School 1, “Kulin Ban” Primary School in Visoko, Srednje Primary School and Secondary School Center in Pale, the Austrian Embassy in Sarajevo announced.
