First meeting of political working group to be held today at BiH Presidency

SARAJEVO, May 4 (FENA) - The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its regular session on April 28, in consultation with representatives of the European Union, launched an initiative to jumpstart reform processes in BiH and to implement the 14 priorities from the European Commission's Opinion.

In this regard, it was agreed to form a political working group that would be tasked with moving the processes within BiH forward and reaching as broader consensus as possible.

This group will consist of the Chairman and the members of the BiH Presidency, the Chairman and two deputy chairs of the Council of Ministers of BiH, the chair and two deputies chairs of the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.

As the BiH Presidency Chairman Šefik Džaferović stated earlier, this will be a broad political body that will meet in the BiH Presidency building and assist in resolving specific issues as needed.

The first meeting of this group was announced today for 13.00 hrs., it was confirmed to FENA from the BiH Presidency.
