BANJA LUKA, May 12 (FENA) - In the Republika Srpska (RS), the presence of coronavirus has been confirmed in another 16 persons out of 338 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
So far, 1.145 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in that BiH entity, 461 people have recovered, and 77 patients have died as a result of COVID-19.
Of the newly infected, ten are men and six are women, it was confirmed today from the RS Ministry of Health and Social Care.
The Ministry noted that in the past 24 hours, another 47 health workers from Banja Luka, Prijedor, Gradiška, Gacko, Prnjavor, Kneževo and East Sarajevo were tested, and a positive test for coronavirus was confirmed in one health worker from Banja Luka.
Another 48 people from local quarantines or isolation facilities were tested in the last 24 hours, and coronavirus was confirmed in one person.
In RS, a total of 18.674 people have been tested for coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) so far.
