LIVNO, May 12 (FENA) – A fifty-two-year-old man from Livno infected with coronavirus has passed away at the Epidemiological Department of the University Clinical Hospital (SKB) Mostar last night, Civil Protection Crisis Staff of Canton 10 confirmed.
This is the first person infected with coronavirus in Canton 10 who has been receiving treatment at the Covid-19 hospital in Mostar since April 4, 2020.
The deceased was an employee of the Armed Forces of BiH with a place of work in Banja Luka, and according to information from the Crisis Staff regarding his medical history, he was suffering from certain chronic diseases, which is why he was connected to a ventilator for a long time.
This is the second death related to coronavirus in Canton 10.
In this Canton 41 positive cases have been confirmed, of which 21 are active, while 19 people have recovered.
Two people from Tomislavgrad are still hospitalized in the SKB Mostar, while other infected persons are in home isolation and most of them have no symptoms.
