DKPT: There are no security threats to OHR

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, May 12 (FENA) - Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH (DKPTBiH) Mirsad Vilić officially briefed today BiH Security Minister Fahrudin Radončić on the results of inspections by BiH security agencies regarding the security of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) and their staff.

The Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH reacted to the request of the OHR, after the statement of the member of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik, from April 20, in which the OHR is mentioned as a hostile institution for Serbs.

Therefore, the Directorate requested information from the Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH (OSA BiH) and other police agencies on the possible threat to the staff and property of the OHR, and they replied that they did not have such information.

The DKPT stated that they are monitoring the current security situation in BiH and are taking all measures to protect and secure the diplomatic staff in BiH, the Ministry of Security of BiH announced.
