BANJA LUKA, May 13 (FENA) - In the last 24 hours, 550 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska and the University Clinical Center (UKC), and coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 23 people in that BiH entity.
So far, 1.168 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in RS, 511 people have recovered, and 79 people have died as a result of COVID-19, the RS Ministry of Health and Social Care announced today.
They stated that 14 newly infected persons are female and nine are male. According to the place of residence, eight people are from Banja Luka, five from Gacko, two each from Doboj and Prijedor, and one person each from Bosanski Brod, Derventa, Kostajnica, Modriča, Srbac and Laktaši.
Four people are hospitalized at the UKC Banja Luka.
Another 144 people from local quarantines or isolation facilities were also tested. A positive test for coronavirus was confirmed in one person from quarantine in Gacko.
