Bosnia and Herzegovina today marks the 28th anniversary of UN membership

SARAJEVO, May 22 (FENA) - On May 20, 1992, the United Nations Security Council adopted a decision recommending the General Assembly to admit the then Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the UN. Two days later, 28 years ago, BiH was admitted to membership, and the BiH flag was raised in front of the UN building in New York.
