HDZ BiH: Abolish the state of disaster and help economy

MOSTAR, May 27 (FENA) - President of HDZ BiH and Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Dragan Čović held a video meeting with HDZ BiH officials of the legislative and executive authorities of the Federation of BiH on Wednesday and stressed that it is necessary to launch an initiative to abolish the state of disaster and further help the economy.

The HDZ BiH officials analyzed the work, decisions, activities and measures taken to combat and prevent coronavirus and how the overall situation affected the health, economy and population.

During the discussion, the officials pointed out that additional attention must be paid to the economy in order to fully start all the processes that were at standstill due to the pandemic, the HDZ BiH announced.

They also discussed health and epidemiological situation and assessed it as stable. Officials stressed the importance of launching an initiative to abolish the state of disaster in the Federation of BiH, with an emphasis on adhering to protective measures.

Speaking about the current political situation in the Federation of BiH, officials of the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH, and ministers in the Government of the Federation of BiH, stressed the importance of political activities, the need to return to normal work, launch new initiatives and decisions to mitigate the consequences of the pandemic, it is said in a statement of HDZ BiH.
