LAKTAŠI, May 31 (FENA) - President of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik pointed out today that he expects the National Assembly of Republika Srpska to reject tomorrow as unacceptable the Resolution on Respecting the Victims of Fascist Regime and Movement, adopted by the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly on May 20.

In a statement to reporters in Laktaši, Dodik stated that by rejecting it in the entity parliament, the resolution will not be valid, nor will it have support in RS.

He also reminded that the Assembly was scheduled with the aim of strengthening the previously adopted resolution in the RS Parliament regarding the genocide in Jasenovac and against Serbs.

“There is no such determination in that controversial resolution passed at the level of BiH. This resolution desecrates the position and belittles the suffering of Serbs, favors the suffering of others, and equates those who were on the criminal side with Serbs,” he stated.

He expressed regret that, as he says, some accepted to be part of the majority in the adoption of the disputed resolution, referring to the deputies of SDS and PDP.

SNSD Vice President Željka Cvijanović also stated that the Resolution on Respecting the Victims of the Fascist Regime and Movement shows how deeply the mentioned parties can fail if they do not adhere to the acts passed by the RS institutions.
