SARAJEVO, June 1 (FENA) - Commander of the FBiH Civil Protection Crisis Staff and Minister of Finance Jelka Milićević said today that the crisis staff did everything according to procedures, transparently and that she is proud of what has been done.

At the extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament on the activities of the Government during the pandemic, with special emphasis on public procurement, Milićević spoke about the role and functioning of the FBiH Civil Protection Crisis Staff, and reminded of its activities in the previous and new convocation.

“What is attributed to being negative or bad is something that I can rightly say it is not connected to the Civil Protection Crisis Staff. Everything we did was done very transparently,” Milićević emphasized.

She added that for the first time, she received information about possible procurements from the FBiH Government. She reminded that the Crisis Staff makes decisions on initiating public procurements, and the procedures are carried out by the FBiH Civil Protection Administration.

“Every decision on initiating public procurements is approved and they are valid the moment they pass in the Government. We had good intentions. Where it went wrong, how it went wrong, let the competent authorities determine,” Milićević pointed out.
