SARAJEVO, June 4 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton Mario Nenadić and Minister of Transport Adi Kalem received on Wednesday representatives of the Marif Foundation Nedžad Avdić and Salih Sağır.
Marif is a private foundation appointed by the Government of Turkey to represent that country in the field of education and other activities.
At the meeting, the Prime Minister and the guests stated that they have had good cooperation so far on the implementation of certain protocols between the Sarajevo Canton and the City of Konya.
They informed the Prime Minister that in the coming days the Sarajevo Canton is to receive a letter of intent on the donation of five trams that Konya will donate to the Canton and the Cantonal Public Transportation Company GRAS.
Prime Minister Nenadić also thanked for the earlier donation of 20 trams together with spare parts, as well as the training of the staff.
It was also announced that the delegation of the Turkish city of Konya will visit the canton in July and that numerous bilateral talks will be held, related to city transportation and other areas.
