SARAJEVO, June 5 (FENA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced this morning the arrival of the humanitarian aid from the United Arab Emirates to BiH, based on a verbal note provided by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates through official communication lines, it was announced from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The statement said that the note of the UAE Embassy in Podgorica, which is concurrently accredited to Bosnia and Herzegovina, requested a landing permit for the private airline Boeing 747-400 of the Government of Dubai, which stated that it transports aid to the government and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Therefore, the Ministry issued a statement informing the public in BiH and expressing its gratitude to the wife of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, for unexpected generous assistance for the second time for the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Immediately before landing of the plane, in a new verbal note from the UAE Embassy, we were informed that the beneficiary of this assistance is the Government of Montenegro, and that the Sarajevo Airport is used for unloading of goods, the BiH MoFA said in a statement.
