MOSTAR, June 5 (FENA) - HDZ BiH President and Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović said today that talks on Mostar and the elections in that city are being held behind closed doors.

“These days we are negotiating behind closed doors with partners about the City of Mostar, about the election law at the state level, on how to put these two packages and how to try to create an environment to organize elections in Mostar together with local elections and I think we are on the right track,” Čović said in a statement to the press after the solemn session of the Presidency of HDZ BiH in Mostar.

Čović added that the key problem is the Central Election Commission.

“What is the key for misunderstanding is the attitude of BiH towards the Central Election Commission and vice versa, considering that we have a lot of problems there,” Čović emphasized.
