SARAJEVO, June 9 (FENA) - Representatives of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) from both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) voted today against all items on the agenda of today's session of the Joint Committee for Defense and Security of the BiH PA.

The agenda of the session included reports on the work of the Parliamentary Military Commissioner, the Board for Complaints of Citizens of the BiH PA and the Independent Board of the BiH PA as an independent body of the BiH police structure, which did not receive support, and the committee only supported the Report on the engagement of the BiH AF to assist civilian authorities in preventing the spread of coronavirus (Covid -19).

According to the Rules of Procedure of that parliamentary working body, it is necessary for deputies and MPs in the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples vote for the item on the agenda, but there must be at least one vote of members from the three constituent peoples.

Due to the votes of the SNSD, the members of the Committee did not accept the Information on the activities of the BiH Parliamentary Military Commissioner Boško Šiljegović, who visited the largest brigades within the Armed Forces during the pandemic to check the working conditions.
