USC Ministry of Interior searches the migrant center Bira in Bihać

BIHAĆ, June 19 (FENA) - Members of the Ministry of the Interior of the Una-Sana Canton (USC MoI) conducted a raid at the migrant center Bira this morning under the order of the Municipal Court in Bihać.

The goal was to find objects that are related to commission of crimes.

“During the search operation, a certain amounts of cannabis was found in the possession of one migrant and he was deprived of liberty. Fifteen people did not have the identification cards of this migrant center, so they were relocated to the reception center at the Lipa site,” it was confirmed from the Ministry of the Interior of the USC.

In front of the temporary reception center Bira, police also found 11 illegal migrants without personal documents, who were also relocated to the reception center Lipa.

This morning's search involved 70 police officers, including members of the Specialist Support Unit.
