FBiH Vice-President Mahmutbegović attends marking of terrorist attack in Bugojno

SARAJEVO, June 28 (FENA) - Vice President of the Federation of BiH Melika Mahmutbegović attended marking of the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attack on the Bugojno Police Station.

One police officer, Tarik Ljubuškić, was killed and another one, Edina Hindić, was seriously injured while five other police officers were slightly injured.

In memory of this event, numerous police, municipal and town delegations laid flowers and paid tribute to the killed police officer Tarik Ljubušić, the Office of the Vice President of the Federation of BiH announced.

“The memory of the terrorist attack in Bugojno is proof that we need to fight against all forms of radicalism. Today we have gathered to remember our Tarik first, to pay tribute, to say that we have not forgotten, but also with this gathering, we want to send the message that terrorism, radicalism and any form of deviation in society cannot be supported in this area. We have not forgotten and we are fighting against any form that disturbs the peace,” Mahmutbegović pointed out.

Haris Čaušević Oks, accused of the terrorist attack on the Bugojno Police Station, was found guilty of the criminal offense of terrorism and sentenced to 35 years in prison, it is said in a statement.
