BiH CEC urges BiH Parliamentary Assembly to adopt state budget

SARAJEVO, July 13 (FENA) - The Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH stated in a letter to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH that even 66 days from the announcement of the upcoming local elections in BiH, no funding was provided for the elections, although it was a legal obligation.

According to BiH CEC, this letter was sent to the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, considering that the Draft Law on the Budget of BiH Institutions and International Obligations of BiH for 2020 will be discussed at the session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly scheduled for July 15, 2020, as well as at the session of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, for which the date has not yet been determined.

The letter was delivered to the members of the Collegium of both Houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, to all parliamentary caucuses in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, as well as to all three caucuses in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
