SARAJEVO, July 15 (FENA) - The House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, in an emergency session, in the second reading, supported the Bill on the Budget of the BiH Institutions and International Obligations for 2020, proposed by the BiH Presidency.
Twenty-four deputies voted in favor, seven against, and four deputies abstained.
The proposed budget was adopted with one amendment that the deputies previously supported, proposed by Jasmin Emrić (A-SDA). The amendment refers to the provision of funds to help resolve the migrant crisis, which has hit the Una-Sana Canton the hardest.
The total revenues, receipts and financing of the BiH institutions in 2020 amount to 996,000,000 KM, which is the same as the total expenditures, which is 30,000,000 KM or three percent more than the Budget in 2019. External debt servicing amounts to 807,552,931 KM and is lower by 18.2 million KM or two percent compared to the previous year.
Funds for mitigating economic damages are planned in the total amount of 41,927,000 KM as a new item in the budget, of which 14,747,000 KM goes to direct transfers and 27,180,000 KM to the current reserve.
For the holding of the local elections in BiH, the budget has set aside the amount of 4,227,000 KM.
