BANJA LUKA, July 17 (FENA) - The Indirect Taxation Authority in Bosnia and Herzegovina (ITA BiH) collected 562 million KM of gross revenues from indirect taxes in June this year, which is 43.6 million KM less than in the same period last year.
Refund payments were lower by 21.6 million KM, so that the decline in net income was smaller than the decline in gross collection, and amounted to 22 million KM, or 4.6 percent.
“Smaller decline in revenues in June stopped the dizzying decline in total revenues this year, which is an encouraging signal of economic recovery, and thus increase of revenues from indirect taxes,” it is noted in the bulletin of the Department of Macroeconomic Analysis of ITA BiH.
In the past six months, the gross collection was lower by 368.8 million KM compared to the given period, and since the returns are lower by 115.2 million KM, the net decline in revenue was 253.5 million KM.
