SARAJEVO, July 26 (FENA) - The SNSD leader and the BiH presidency member Milorad Dodik must explain to the citizens of the smaller Bosnian entity why he is obstructing the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina's joint fight against terrorism, the Democratic Front asked in a statement on Saturday.
"It is known fact that Dodik opposes the signing of the Memorandum on the exchange of travel information with the United States, which is part of the fight against terrorism and organized crime so that it can be known in real-time whether there are people involved in such activities.
The DF underlines that he should have signed that memorandum, and not, as he did, forward this non-issue to the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska, in an effort to, as they stated, obstruct the joint fight of the USA and BiH against terrorism.
The DF adds that Dodik uses every opportunity to obstruct the international fight against terrorism.
"We call on the deputies in the RSNA not to follow the detrimental policy of Milorad Dodik, because obstructing the fight against terrorism is in nobody's, therefore, not even in the interest of the RS. If they decide to follow Dodik in pursuing such path, they must count on facing serious international consequences," the DF said.
