Lučić condemns vandalism at the Orthodox church cemetery in Široki Brijeg

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, July 28 (FENA) - Minister of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH Miloš Lučić has strongly condemned the latest incident in a village of Dobrič near Široki Brijeg, where a terrifying graffiti threatening Serbs living in the area appeared on the fence of the Orthodox Church cemetery and the Church of Saint Kyriaki.

This morning, the graffiti emerged on the church’s fence that reads, "All of you will end up here" and the Ustasha symbol "U".

Minister Lučić appealed to the competent institutions to find the perpetrators of this act of vandalism as soon as possible and sanction them, and to remove the offensive graffiti as soon as possible.

“In recent days, unfortunately, we have witnessed a large number of attacks on religious buildings which send a bad message to reconciliation in BiH and the return of refugees and displaced persons,” said the office of Minister Lučić.
