GORAŽDE, July 28 (FENA) - The Professional Fire Brigade of Goražde today received a donation in the form of protective suits. Valuable assistance was provided by the sister German sister city of Mettmann.
Representatives of the city administration on the occasion of the delivery of the donation announced another shipment of assistance for this unit, whose engagement often crosses local and entity borders.
Mayor of Goražde, Muhamed Ramović, reminded that the cooperation between the two sister cities, which has lasted for many years, has resulted in numerous projects that have been realized in the past years.
“Even before the pandemic, we sent a request to the sister municipalities and cities to help us equip the Fire Brigade Unit and today, our sister city of Mettmann with whom we have had good cooperation for many years, promised to help equip our firefighters.
This is the first shipment that contains 50 emergency suits, and the next thing we planned and agreed to realize is the purchase of a special fire truck with a movable ladder, which is much needed for our unit,” Ramović emphasized.
