SARAJEVO, July 28 (FENA) - In the past 24 hours, 989 samples were tested in the Federation of BiH, of which 162 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.
As of today, 2,997 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, while there are currently 2,977 active cases of SARS-CoV-2.
The coronavirus infection was confirmed in another 66 people in the entity of Republika Srpska after testing 381 laboratory samples in the past 24 hours, while one death of an elderly person from Šamac was reported, stated the entity's Institute of Public Health.
An epidemiologist at the Institute of Public Health Jelena Đaković Dević specified that so far, 48,589 people have been tested in the RS, coronavirus has been confirmed in 4,488 cases, and 2,180 have recovered.
"Most of the infected people have moderately serious clinical symptoms," pointed out Đaković Dević and added that most infected people are between the ages of 30 and 64.
